At Luna, we want children to be not only well-fed, but also healthy and happy.
Good food doesn’t just happen overnight—it takes time, patience, and attention to detail. Our kitchen team at Luna starts preparing meals as early as the early morning hours. The first pots are on the stove by 3:00 a.m. Then, at 9:00 a.m., a second cooking team arrives to take over the cooking duties.

To achieve this, we rely on two proven methods:

Once the dishes have been seasoned, the cooking process may be complete, but the work is far from over! Now it’s all about packaging, transportation, and smooth delivery, so that every Luna lunch arrives at schools and daycare centers on time and fresh, ready to be served.

Our Luna logistics and packaging team works closely with the kitchen to carefully prepare the meals for transport, ensuring that nothing is missing and that every daycare center and school receives exactly what was ordered.

Once everything is ready, the delivery teams load their vehicles, check their routes, and set off on their rounds. After all, good food only goes down well when the logistics are perfectly coordinated!

A good lunch requires not only fresh ingredients and experienced chefs, but also many other hardworking hands working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly—because we’re more than just a kitchen! At Luna, people from a wide variety of fields work together— from purchasing to food service, from customer service to the dishwashing area.

Every department plays a part in ensuring your children are well fed.

Meal distribution– Our staff are on site at schools and daycare centers to ensure that every child receives a meal.

Dishwashing Area– After a meal is before the next one! Our dishwashing team ensures that all containers and kitchen utensils are hygienically clean and ready for use.

Logistics– From precise route planning and careful loading to on-time delivery – everything runs like clockwork here!

Administration– The organization behind the scenes! This is where coordination, budgeting, and planning take place to ensure smooth operations.

Purchasing– Quality starts with the ingredients. Our purchasing team carefully selects products—preferably regional and seasonal.

Human Resources– This department is all about the heart of Luna: our team! Human Resources handles new hires, looks after our employees, and fosters a positive work environment.

IT & System Development– To ensure that the digital ordering system runs smoothly, our IT experts provide technical solutions and support.

Customer Service– Whether you're a parent, a school, or a staff member, our customer service team is here to answer any questions you may have about lunch, orders, or special requests.
