Gentle cooking method

Carrot Soup with Vegetable Pieces & Croutons

Cook & Chill

Cooked, but full of energy.
To ensure that children get all the essential vitamins and nutrients, we use gentle cooking methods, such as our Cook & Chill process. In this process, meals are freshly prepared and gently cooked (Cook) in our Luna kitchens before being quickly cooled to 2–3°C (Chill). After delivery to schools and daycare centers, the meals are finished on-site. Because they are kept warm for only a short time, vitamins, nutrients, and full flavor are preserved.
